1. Create a Mockup Design First

Once you have decided to create a website, you will have to apply these first two main rules: design and code. This is usually the recommended order. Of course no one stops you opting for the reverse way, but you might lose some precious time if you code the site and then you start creating, you notice that you would like to add something more and you will have to recode the website in order to do that.

2. Ensure your Content Remains Easy to Read

After the first step is finished, look again before publishing the site as HTML because it has to be easily coded. The pictures must be clear, with an adequate size and position if you want to stir up the interest of your audience. The same rule applies for the texts; they should be large enough to be legible.

3. Apply as much CSS as Possible

If the mockup is completely done, your website is ready to be coded. The most popular variant to code a website is HTML. But it doesn’t mean that it’s the only one. The major disadvantage is that HTML sites require quite a long time to load. The fastest solution is to appeal to CSS techniques which will diminish the size of the web pages and will also boost compatibility with the best Internet browsers.
